Peach Glazed Short Square Nails

Recreate this glazed look at home

1. Prep: push back cuticles, buff the shine off the nail plate and wipe with alcohol so the base coat grips.
2. Shape: File straight across the top, then soften the two corners with one light stroke so they don’t snag.
3. Apply and cure a gel base coat.
4. Paint one or two sheer coats of peach so the nail still looks soft and milky.
5. Seal with a no-wipe top coat, cured for about half the time.
6. Buff in a pearl or white chrome powder very lightly — you want a glow, not a mirror.
7. Finish with a glossy top coat for the "donut glaze" depth.
8. A drop of cuticle oil at the end makes the photo-ready difference.

Pro tip: Less powder is more: a single light pass gives the pearly glaze; heavy rubbing turns it into full chrome.
