1. Prep: push back cuticles, buff the shine off the nail plate and wipe with alcohol so the base coat grips.
2. Shape: File the sides in a straight line toward the center and round the tip softly, like the top of an almond.
3. Apply a sheer, glossy nude base.
4. With the thinnest liner brush you have, paint a hair-thin black line right on the edge of the nail.
5. Clean the line so it hugs the tip evenly on every nail.
6. Seal with a glossy top coat.
7. Finish with cuticle oil once everything is dry.

Pro tip: Micro French lines are 1 mm or less — a striper brush with very little product gives the cleanest result.
